About How I shoot
Your wedding day should be just that. A wedding. Not a day to just get dressed up for an all day photoshoot.
My aim as a wedding photographer is to deliver authentic, honest photos that tell the story of your wedding. Yes, we will make time to take some beautiful, and creative portraits, of you and your brand new spouse, your families, and your wedding party… but that will be just a small part of the telling of your whole day.
My documentary approach allows you to spend as much time with your friends and family as possible.
My job is to be diligently watching for those moments of love and joy to unfold, and to capture them. This is my favorite part of my job.

Unplugged Discount

I have noticed a big spike in people experiencing wedding ceremonies through their phones and tablets and it breaks my heart just a little. I offer a $150 discount to clients who make any best effort to ask their guests to unplug during the ceremony. I would be happy to discuss this more with you at our meeting.
Albums
Don’t let your wedding photos grow up to be jpegs. Yes, sharing your wedding photos online is very exciting and a fun way to announce to the world that you “put a ring on it,” but in even just a years time you are not going to want to be digging through your hard drives to look for your wedding photos. What you will want to do, though, is pull out a wedding album when your friend from out of town comes to visit; when you kids (if you so choose to have them) are old enough to ask how “mommy and daddy met”; or when you go see your grandma over the holidays.
I work with my clients to deliver the perfect book that encapsulates their wedding day. This is one of those items you will want to add to the “things I would grab if my house was burning down” list.
